THE Penola Lions Club recently distributed 82 bales of hay to the Lions Need For Feed Disaster Relief project in northern South Australia.

The club coordinated the cutting, raking and baling of the hay on Wattle Range Council land in Penola.

For many years David and Malcolm Todd have also supported the club through their hay baling business.

The club also thanked Snow Eason and family for their donation of raking and baling hay which was loaded by Lions Club members Ken Mountford and Graham Hinze.

Another council owned paddock was not baled but the club was able to obtain agistment with $500 sent to the Lions Australia Dist C1/C2 Joint Drought Relief Project.

In the past the club has also sent consignments of hay to the Pinery and Sherwood fire districts.
