HIGHLAND SUCCESS: Margaret Cleves School of Dancing students were ready to shine at the South Australian State Technical Committee competition.

MARGARET Cleves School of Dancing students dominated the South Australian State Technical Committee competition, held recently at the Main Corner.

Adjudicators from Perth and Adelaide judged the competition, in which Margaret Cleves students won all but one of the sections.

Agnes Sim and Ebony McDonald nailed the competition, scoring five gold medals each, winning the beginner class and premier 13-15 years aggregate respectively.

Novice competitor Laura Le Cornu and premier 7-12 years aggregate dancer Ellie Mullan dominated on the day winning four golds each, with Ellie also receiving the highest aggregate restricted premier award.
Premier 16 years and over aggregate winner Chloe Miller won three golds in her divisions.

Olive Cotton triumphed in the competition, winning two gold in the primary six year aggregate.

Primary six year aggregate dancer Anna Le Cornu and runner-up premier 7-12 years aggregate performer Hailee Pearce scored themselves one gold and two silver each.

Zander Sims and Violet Davies both scored a gold and silver within the primary 4-5 years aggregate.

Runner-up premier Abbey Freebairn attained five silvers in the 13-15 aggregate with beginner merit winner Elisabeth Benny coming close behind with one bronze.

Isabelle Bidese finished the competition strong, winning two restricted premier medals.

Several students also had success in the trophy dance section, with all competitors topping the competition with strength.
