From Melbourne, David Hoy and his son Parker are pictured with their 1940 750cc Harley Davidson WL with hand-shift gears. Used in World War Two, the bike went on to race in the United States including at Daytona prior to coming to Australia where it has been in Mr Hoy's ownership for about five years.
