KALANGADOO V NANGWARRY

Kalangadoo is one side in the Mid South East football season that has finally began to show its true colours.

In contrast, Nangwarry is settled at the bottom of the ladder, with Kongorong just holding onto eighth place above them.

Between the Saints and the Hawks, only the latter has a chance of victory this weekend.

Back in Round four the Saints hosted the Magpies and went down by 98 points.

This week on their home turf, the Magpies could be even bigger winners, depending on Mother Nature.

The weather could be a saviour for the Saints, but not enough to gain an upset.

Last round the Magpies easily accounted for Mount Burr off the back of four goals each to Dylan Bromley and Ben Gregory.

Lachy Jones added three majors, while the list of multiple goal kickers went deep, including Jack Casey, coach Alex Lyon, Ethan Maney and Sam McManus.

Nangwarry comes off a loss to Tantnaoola, with only Andrew Hyland able to contribute multiple goals, with four majors to his name.

This week’s contest will be too much for the Saints, with the Magpies to romp home in a canter.
