Demi Hoffmeister comes from a strong Tarpeena family and made her 100th appearance for the Nangwarry Netball Club on Saturday.

She started her career with the Tarpeena junior netball sides but joined Nangwarry in 2014 to join her sister Kayla, who was already with the Saints.

During her time at Nangwarry, Hoffmeister won a B Grade premiership in 2015.

She has also won individual accolades with the Saints and has also played in the A and A Reserves teams in the past.

Hoffmeister also got the opportunity to play with her sister Kayla and this was a highlight for her.

After she spent some time away from netball, she returned when Nangwarry was short with players this season and joined the A Reserves team halfway through the season to help out.

Hoffmeister has always been a good club person and will contribute in anyway she can around the Club.

She also helps out with umpiring and will help other teams score or time games.

Although Hoffmeister did not start her career at Nangwarry, she loves the club likes she has been there her whole life and has made life-long friendships.

Her love of netball is inherited from her mother Donna Gray, who lived and breathed netball and this is where her girls’ passion for the sport has come from and they often say their role model, was their mum.

Hoffmeister has a great supporter base, as her family is always at the club to support her whenever she plays.
