NORTH Gambier will look to bounce back this weekend when it takes on East Gambier at McDonald Park on Saturday.

The Tigers are currently third on the ladder but have not won a game in their last three outings.

East has won just the one game this season, which was back in Round 4.

These two sides met back in Round 1 and Round 6 and the Tigers won both clashes.

In Round 1, North claimed a 22-point win and in Round 6, the Tigers won by 42 points at Vansittart Park.

Jordan Hollit was named best on ground when these two sides last met where the defender kicked his only goal of the season.

North’s Justin McConnell was player of the match in Round 1 and East will be keen to shut him down.

McConnell has been a valuable contributor through the middle and is no stranger to the big sticks, with 16 goals for the season.

Sam Stafford enters the game in dangerous form, after he kicked seven goals against the Cats last weekend.

Stafford has kicked 29 goals in just 10 games this season.

East will look to Garret Ha in the forward line, who has 16 goals in nine games this season.

The Bulldogs will hope Nick Lock and John Forster can put in a strong performance this weekend, after the two were East’s best players in the previous encounters between these sides.

Although the Tigers have been in a poor run of form, North will comfortably win over East this weekend.
