Support group launch

SOUTH East Renal Support will hold its inaugural meeting this Sunday at Mount Gambier Hospital.

The group is considered a crucial step in supporting people struggling with renal disease in the region.

Kidney Health Australia – the nation’s peak consumer organisation representing patients living with kidney disease and their families – is helping to launch the support group.

The support group will be launched by Kidney Health Australia national clinical director Dr Shilpa Jesudason and Nebu Mathew, who is the renal nurse unit manager at Mount Gambier and District Health Service.

The meeting will be held in the Mount Gambier Hospital Conference Room 2 at 2pm.

People are urged to email ainslie.bolton@kidney.org.au by close of business today if they plan to attend.
