Youth Action Crew hosts fun-filled afternoon

HEYWOOD youth are invited to join in an afternoon of snacks, skateboards and selfies tomorrow as part of the Heywood Youth Action Crew (YAC) Friday Fun event.

Glenelg Shire Council youth project officer Angela Phillips said the event would offer young people in the town a chance to catch up and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with friends while sharing ideas on possible events and projects for 2018.

“Whether you want to draw, discuss or skate, there will be something that appeals to you,” she said.

“We have got some props to grab a silly selfie, tools to create your own skateboard design and of course some YAC members on hand to discuss what you would like to see organised for next year.”

The Friday Fun event will take place at the Heywood Skate Park from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
