A VIBRANT street party in the heart of the city kick-started this year’s Fringe in Mount Gambier festival on Friday night.
With Commercial Street East closed to traffic, hundreds of locals poured out across the central business district to enjoy free music and eclectic entertainment.
The street party boasted pop-up bars, roving performers, tarot card readings, face painting, carnival rides and magic shows.
Fringe in Mount Gambier continued on Saturday with a number of free events in the Cave Garden and ticketed events at venues across the city.
