STUDENTS from Grant High School showcased their talents recently as part of the school’s Wild Winter’s Night.

The event was primarily driven by students with everything produced by classes from Year 9 to 12.

Students studying music performed on stage, with those completing technical studies making tables, hospitality students catering with tapas and the art and design classes designing the back drop, in addition to lighting.

The aim was to create a real life event similar to a live music venue with a “few bells and whistles” attached.

In addition to being a great way for friends and family to check out what has been happening in classes, the event also formed part of assessment requirements with teachers judging how well they delivered on their specific craft.

Grant High School strives to have real world events as often as it can and hopes to host another Wild Winter’s Night next year.
