Closed circuits for club races

TAKING advantage of the extra daylight at this time of the year, the Mount Gambier Cycling Club had prepared for an extra couple of events during the week for its members.

Unfortunately some untimely rain meant that those events had to be cancelled last week.

For the next three weeks the club will hold criterium events at McNamara Park on Thursday nights from 6:30pm.

Anyone thinking about taking up the four-week Come and Try race licence option from AusCycling, this would provide the perfect opportunity to ride on a closed track.

There is also regular track racing at the Velodrome on Friday nights from 6pm, with various grades competing.
