MOUNT Gambier City Council’s heritage committee has developed a work plan outlining a number of potential exhibitions and events.
A list of the proposed actions will be prioritised and those selected for implementation costed, noting council’s available resources.
The work plan proposes the acquisition and preservation of the WIN TV archive, promotion of culturally significant Boandik sites and celebration of 175 years of Mount Gambier in 2022.
Other suggested actions include an exhibition on women’s history in Mount Gambier, preservation of the Lake Terrace Cemetery and establishment of a pioneer walk.
