TANTANOOLA kicked the 2024 Mid South East netball season off with a bang with home-grown Tiger Casey Walker reaching 150 A Grade games for the club.

Walker started playing competitive netball as a mini Tiger in Under 13s in 2008, achieving many awards during junior levels, which included best and fairest four times, runner-up best and fairest once and runner-up best and fairest for the association twice.

She made her A Grade debut while still eligible for juniors and began her full time senior netball career in 2013.

She has been a permanent member of the A Grade side ever since.

Walker has dedicated so much of herself to the Tantanoola Netball Club. She is a badged umpire who officiates almost weekly and has coached many teams, including Under 17s and A Reserves.

Her enthusiasm for the game and the club is evident week in, week out, on and off the court.

She has had a somewhat flawed playing career with plenty of injuries, but none that have slowed her down too much.

Walker is a tenacious and passionate player who wears her heart on her sleeve and leaves nothing out on the court each week.

Often an overlooked player who does her job and more each time she hits the court.
