Magpies to dominate

TANTANOOLA V KALANGADOO

Tantanoola will face the might of Kalangadoo in Round 14 of Mid South East football, with nothing to lose and plenty to gain.

Back in Round 5 it was an easy victory to the Magpies and not much has changed since – apart from Kalangadoo improving and looking every chance to have a crack at another premiership flag.

The Tigers have enjoyed a stronger season overall, with five wins chalked up, but against the stronger sides they are a bit hit-and-miss.

Their last win came in Round 12 against Nangwarry and the Saints pushed hard all day in that one.

Against Kalangadoo in Round 5 the Tigers had few answers, as the Magpies simply went about their work to expand the margin at every break.

But the Tigers are out of the running for a finals berth and have nothing to lose.

Whether they can find enough firepower to compete with the Magpies is doubtful, but they will certainly go down fighting on their home deck.
