NANGWARRY netballer Cassie Dinnison notched up a big milestone on the weekend, playing her 300th senior game for the Saints.

Dinnison started her netball career in Adelaide before the family relocated to Mount Gambier where she played her juniors at Glencoe.

She moved to Tantanoola for a few years to play with her sister, then headed to Nangwarry in the year 2000 to join her now husband Adam.

She has played a majority of these senior games in the A Grade team.

During her netball career, Dinnison has been selected to represent the Mid South East and Western Border netball associations throughout her junior and senior years, playing at country championships in Adelaide and Melbourne, where she was lucky to be involved in two A Grade wins in Adelaide and one in Melbourne.

She has been lucky to play in finals at Nangwarry on numerous occasions and won multiple individual accolades at club level, also receiving life membership of the club in 2021.

Dinnison has made the Mid South East top 10 on several occasion, plus once in Western Border top 10.

She has won Mid South East A Grade joint runner-up, A Grade Under 21 award and best and fairest in Under 17, for MSENA.

Dinnison is an active member of the Nangwarry Netball Club.

Over the years she has coached multiple teams every year, umpired and been a representative on the Nangwarry committee for 19 years, where she also held the president and secretary roles.

In 2023 Dinnison took on an executive position on the MSENA board for the first year.

She coaches A Grade, A Reserve and Junior 1 grades, occasionally umpiring when needed as well as mentoring.

This season she is also the treasurer of the club, a committee member of the Nangwarry Football Club and also does the sponsorship and clothing for both the football and netball clubs.

Despite it all, Dinnison has still managed to raise a young family, now taking her kids to sporting commitments and work full-time.

She is always willing to help anyone out where she can and always gives her all on and off the court, remains positive and encourages others.

The Nangwarry Netball Club congratulates Dinnison on her 300 senior games.
