THE women of the Mount Gambier Golf Club played a three-person medley stableford last Wednesday, sponsored by Lois and Denise Harvey.
Coming in first on a count-back was the team of Lyn Hudson, Carol Smith and Lois Harvey on 69 points.
Runners-up with 69 points were Bernie Jennings, Karen Forster and Kathy Ewer.
Third place went to Gloria Lennon, Gail Watson and Jennifer Van Rijthoven, one shot away on 68 points.
In the ball run down on 65 points, Heather Chapman, Deb Sheather and Sue Ryan claimed balls.
The pro shot on the eighth hole went to Gail Watson.
Nearest the pin second shots were on the difficult 10th hole.
Winner in A Grade was Van Rijthoven and in C Grade Jill Johnson.
The overall stableford winner was Kate McCormick.
On Saturday a par round was held, with 15 players taking to the course.
Winner on a count-back was Smith, from Jennings and Di O’Donnell all on 2-down.
One shot back were Forster and Jan Shanahan.
