PORT MACDONNELL 18.12 (120) D GLENCOE 8.9 (57)

GLENCOE hosted Port MacDonnell in Round 10 of Mid South East football and suffered a big 63-point loss.

A slow start by the hosts set the game up, as the Demons banged on 6.6 (42) in the opening term to the Murphies two behinds.

The game then settled in and the Demons continued to build on its foundation, with five goals to three in the second term.

By the long break the margin had increased to 52 points and it would prove to be a long day for the host club.

Both sides added three goals and three behinds in the third term, but the Murphies simply could not make headway into the deficit.

With the job done by the final break, the Demons would have been excused for taking it easy, but that was not the case, as they added a further four majors andheld the Murphies to just two for a strong victory in less-than-ideal conditions.

Up forward it was the Colby Munro show, as the Demon recruit banged on 10 major scores.

He was supported by big men Tim Sullivan and Will MacDonald who kicked two each.
