TENISON Woods College held its annual Year 7-12 Athletics Carnival last week over two days.

After a convincing win in the Swimming Carnival a few weeks ago, Woods proved too strong in its athletic abilities and claimed the cup for 2023.

Woods finished 385 points clear of runner-up McAuley in a solid showing.

There was plenty of friendly rivalry on show throughout the event, with students and staff showing their founder team spirit.

Students dressed to the theme of “children’s TV shows”, with a best dressed award also on offer, won by Jack Berkefeld and Isabella King.

RESULTS

1st Woods – 4924 points; 2nd McAuley – 4539; 3rd MacKillop – 3737; 4th Champagnat – 3481; Spirit Stick Award: McAuley.
