IT all boils down to one last game in Mount Gambier Softball, with Demons and Concordes United to fight it out for the 2022-23 season honours.

Demons booked the first place in the decider with a strong win over Concordes Unitied, which sent the reigning premiers into the preliminary final.

United put in a valiant effort to utilise its second chance with a 9-7 win and will now have its sights set on redemption in the big dance.

A competitive match can be expected and both teams boast plenty of talent.

Demons will look to recent runner-up best and fairest Billie Jones for a strong performance with both bat and ball.

She has been a weapon on the mound and will look to fire again when it counts.

Kezia Feast finished the minor season with the best batting average in the league and should keep United fielders occupied.

Concordes United’s Sarah Thompson received the RBI award at the 2022-23 presentation night and will look to perform well with bat in hand.

Dana Jones has also had a solid season for United and she is another all-rounder who can deal some damage in all positions on the field.

After a 9-1 result in the semi final, Demons will carry confidence into the match.

However, grand finals are a different ball game and United will be determined to defend their 2021-22 title.

The game starts at 2pm on Diamond 1 and promises to be an exciting conclusion to the season.
