THE Robe Bowling Club held its women’s singles championships last Wednesday.

At the end of the day it was Robbie Dahler who claimed her first singles title.

In the semi final Tracey Gray defeated Bronwyn Matthews 21-11, while Dahler accounted for Valma Jennings 21-19 in a tightly contested game.

Dahler started well, winning the first three ends, before Jennings gradually pulled back to get in front.

The lead changed regularly until Dahler scored a three on the final end to claim the win and a place in the grand final.

In the decider Dahler had a comfortable win over Gray 25-12, yet the scoreline did not reflect the quality of the game.
