THE Port MacDonnell Bowling Club held it’s men’s and women’s triples in windy conditions on Sunday.

The men’s event was contested by seven teams.

The final was a game of two halves, where Seiler was off to a good start.

After eight ends his team led 11-1, but the game turned around from there.

After 17 ends had been played, Wilson’s trio was up by two shots and it all came down to the last end.

Seiler’s rink held the game with three shots, but when Wilson’s last bowl was a lucky rub which moved the jack, Wilson’s side clinched the title 17-13.

There were four teams take part in the women’s event, which was played in a 15-end knockout format.

Heather Richards’ rink defeated Marilyn Sutton to reach the final, while Elaine Pruis defeated Roma Henderson to advance.
