Stacey Lowndes will play her 200th game for the Mount Burr Netball Club on Saturday.

She began at the club in 2005 and has played the majority of her games in the A and A reserve sides.

This year, she is playing coach of the B Grade team.

Lowndes is a determined defensive player who makes her opponent work hard for every possession.

She has had individual success and won the best and fairest for the A Reserves side in 2016 and 2018, she was also a runner-up in 2017.

Lowndes is a valued club person who is a committee member, umpire, scorer, timer and coach.

She has regularly filled in to umpire most weeks and supported the young coaches to have courts set up for home games.

Lowndes is also a member of the Mount Burr Football and Netball Club Social Club and has helped organise functions and events.

The family is dedicated to the club, as her husband Henry has helped the B Grade football side over the years, while her children also play junior netball.
