Robe will be eager to return to form when it travels to Kongorong for Round 14 of Mid South Eastern football.

The game is a must-win for the Roosters if they are to stay in the finals hunt.

With just five rounds left in the season, Robe occupies fifth place on the ladder and is four points behind Port MacDonnell in fourth.

The Roosters suffered stinging defeats in their last two games and will be eager to set the record straight.

In Round 12, Robe lost to Hatherleigh by 126 points and lost to Glencoe in Round 13 by 65.

With a large gap in percentage between Port MacDonnell and Robe, the Roosters cannot afford to lose a third game in a row or else it could spell an end to their finals aspirations.

Kongorong heads into the game off the back of a strong win over Nangwarry in Round 13, where the Hawks won by 84 points.

However, Robe will prove to be a much tougher task and the Hawks will need to be at their best if they are to stand a chance.

Back in Round 5, the Roosters were far too strong for Kongorong and claimed a 46-point win.

Sam Clements was best on ground for Robe and Lachlan Hentschke kicked five goals.

Kongorong has won just three games this season and will need Jarrod Ryan and Scott Fleming to put in strong performances in the forward line.

Tom Wachtel will look to use his size to full measure in the ruck for Robe, while Hentschke will look to continue his impressive efforts in front of goal which has seen him kick 19 majors in eight games this season.

Jack Kelly will also be a key player for Robe if they are to get over the line.

Despite a difficult two weeks, the Roosters will have enough strength to win this clash and keep their finals hopes alive.
