MOUNT Gambier Golf Club attracted 32 golfers last Wednesday for the Women’s monthly medal for May.
Competitors had to contend with the difficult conditions as the wind and rain meant that only six players scored under 80.
Leanne Hunt claimed the victory with as she hit 86 off the stick to end with a score of 70.
Hunt had an impressive front nine which included five pars.
Hunt also won the putting competition with 29 putts.
Kerry Pedlar was runner-up in Division 1 with a score of 76, which included seven pars
Jess Parsons claimed the Division 2 win with a score of 89.
Parsons had an impressive day as she played the front nine under her handicap.
Libby Altschwager was runner-up, two shots behind Parsons.
