MILLICENT v CASTERTON SANDFORD

TOMORROW presents a young Casterton Sandford with another learning experience when it heads to McLaughlin Park to take on the undefeated Saints.

The Cats continue to fine tune their line-up and saw some promising signs with new look defensive and shooting combinations last round.

In her return from an ACL injury, Madalene Cleary continues to work her way back to top form.

She combined with Chloe Foster last week in what could be the shooting duo of choice moving forward.

Defensively, Caeleigh Humphries continues to be the backbone of the back third and she combined well with Charlotte Rice last week.

The mid court of Scarlett Jarrad, Tess Marra and Gaby Tomkins has also started to form a strong understanding and will be relied on heavily tomorrow.

All those combinations will be tested with Tabatha Sanderson and Demi Verbena set to return to Millicent’s roster after missing last round.

The mid court of Paige Nitschke, Lillie Paul and Georgia Clarke continues to cover the absence of Lisa Duldig and move the ball with speed and precision.

At the other end Hannah Nitschke and Portia McRae continue to make life tough for opposition shooting combinations and it is hard to mount a case for the Cats as Millicent looks towards another comfortable victory.
