CASTERTON Sandford are set to host a rampaging Roos line-up this weekend in the Western Border Netball Association.

West enter the game off the back of a comprehensive defeat to South Gambier.

The Cats will need to focus on a strong start and then look to keep control of the scoreboard against a strong West side.

The Roos’ Lisa McGregor and Sarah Ritter are an accurate shooting combination that work well together.

West’s Tara Bryant, Zoe Malseed and Mikaela Horrigan are hard running young mid courters, blessed with speed and all creative with ball in hand.

Amy Cram and Jade Ritter enter the game off the back of a gam where they created plenty of turnovers.

For the Cats, there have been positives for debut coach Jodie Humphries to build upon.

The return of Madalene Cleary to the line-up has been a boost for the attack end and she is also bringing out the best in Charlotte Rice.

At the defensive end, Caeleigh Humphries and Ebany Jarrad never give up the ball easily, while Tessa Marra on the defensive wing has helped up the pressure on the opposition feeders.

The second-ranked Roos should secure a comfortable win, while the Cats will look to find some consistency and not allow the scoreboard to blow out.
