THE Ladies Prestige bowls Medley was held at Playford Bowling Centre in Elizabeth recently while the Men’s competition was held at West Lakes Bowling Club.
12 regions from across country and metro associations took part as tow pools of six regions battled it out to earn a place in the final.
The South East side struggled in the women’s tournament, as they finished last in their pool.
The Metro East region claimed victory in the competition as they defeated the Metro West side in the final.
The men’s side put in a strong performance as they held top position for the competition until the final game when they had a draw which relegated them to second place in their pool, costing them a place in the final.
The final was played between Metro West and Upper North as Metro West claimed the Prestige Medley title.
