THE final round of Millicent Bowls Club’s popular Night Owls series has been completed, with just the presentation night remaining.
On the final night of play, Red Division was claimed by Rovers (Mick Pedler, John Buhlmann and Roger Buckmaster) after defeating Somerset Legends 30+14.
Other winners were Mossies 27+7, Max’s Four 27+7 and Sparkies 26+7, while Beetles won on a forfeit 27+0.
In Blue division, Maccas (Ray Doecke, Malcolm McRobert, Shorty McRobert and Simon Cooper) defeated Somerset Seniors 29+19 to claim the honours.
Other winners were Lions 27+2, Try Hards 27+1, Lions Rams 25+5 and Grand Hotel 25+1.
Miss Fitts (Marg Lang, Jan Buhlmann, Oor Grovenor and Joy Warren) defeated The Pups 29+12 to claim White division.
Other winners were Bedford Butterflies 28+5, Beanz Team 27+14, Lions Roar 27+9 and Sunnies 26+4.
All bowlers are reminded of the fundraiser for the Flying Doctors on Sunday, April 3, with names to be in by 12.30pm for a 1pm start.
Bowlers are also asked to bring a plate of afternoon tea.
