WARM conditions greeted Penola Bowls Club women for the Ladies 100-up Drawn Pairs competition last week.
Games were tight leading up to the final, with Christine Skeer and Sue Lamont facing Gail Hetherington and Nanette Wallace.
In an up-and-down final, Skeer and Lamont held the lead until the final couple of ends.
Hetherington and Wallace then found some extra form and ran away with the game to win by 10 shots.
