THE Millicent Bowls Club’s greens were busy last week when 36 players registered for a 2-4-2 competition.
Joy Warren and Andre Reinders paired up to claim the win with a score of 37+29, only losing three of the 20 ends in an impressive display.
Frank Cooper and John Buhlmann were runners-up with a score of 33+14.
Other winning teams: David Crase/Eddie Hann 33+7; Arthur O’Connell/Neil Whelan 32+16; Peter Bateman/Peter Varcoe 32+3; Ian Ross/Steve Carnellor 31+8; David Botting/Peter Scanlon 30+6; Garth Baker/John Scudds 29+5; Sam Schofield/Kym Stewart 21+0; Ross Warren/Terry Barnes 19+0.
Upcoming competitions and activities include the Mixed Pairs on March 14 and the Veterans Singles on March 30.
A tea will be held after Pennants on Saturday February 26.
Names must be in well before the date, with a sheet available to register attendance.
