MADDY Wormald is the latest OneFortyOne Pioneers player to sign on for the upcoming 2022 NBL1 South basketball season.
The 25-year-old has been a Pioneer since the club established a women’s team in 2019.
Head coach Matt Sutton expressed his enthusiasm for having Wormald back in the roster.
“It is great to have Maddy back involved with the group,” he said.
“She has been an important part of our program since we began in 2019.
“Maddy is an extremely tough player who can stretch the floor with her shooting.
“ She also has a keen eye for development and communicates well with our younger players.”
The OneFortyOne Pioneers and the Castec Rural Pioneers will commence their 2022 NBL1
South campaigns in April 2022.
