THE Millicent Bowling Club welcomed 120 players to its first night of Night Owls competition for the season.
Four new teams were welcomed, with extra players also signed up to avoid a bye.
Touches went to Manny Fuentes (Scrappers) 3, Wayne Hann (Bedford Butterflies) 3, Bernie Bowman (Sunnies) 3 and Richard North (Lion Rams) 3.
Winners this week:
In Red division, new team The George – Pluto King, Sam Schofield, Teena Eriksen and Lance Skeer – defeated Bits and Pieces 29+6 to claim the honours.
Other winners were Somerset Legends 28+1, Max’s Four 28+1, Jack Attack 27+4 and Rovers 27+3.
Try Hards – Graham Attiwell, Peter Jones, Arnold Damhuis and Paul Bosco – defeated X Factor 30+21 for the win in Blue division.
Other winners were Lion Rams 28+12, Birdies 28+11, Lions 27+9 and Somery Seniors 27+6.
In White division Sunnies – Nigel Ross, Bernie Bowman, Glen Tilley and Barb Leicester – defeated Bedford Butterflies 29+18 for the win.
Other winners were Gizzies Crew 28+13, Miss Fitts 28+3, The Pups 27+3 and Beanz Team 26+10.
