A MILLICENT team has claimed the Penola Bowls Club’s Ladies Invitation 4s.
The team consisting of Elaine Goode, Ella Pietersma Del Parsons and Mary Clifford were too strong on the day, with a win over Naracoorte and Mount Gambier RSL rounding out the podium.
Last Friday the women’s Pennant teams had a mixed day on the green with Division 1 going down to Mount Gambier RSL by 41 shots 24-65, Division 2 with a win over Beachport Blue by 13 shots 54-41 and Division 3 defeated Mount Gambier RSL by 10 shots 43-33.
On Saturday the Division 2 Open Pennant team defeated Mount Gambier RSL by 11 shots 72-61, Division 3 lost to Millicent Blue by 44 shots 51-95 and Division 4 went down to Naracoorte by 11 shots 63-74.
This Friday the women’s Division 1 team plays at home against Millicent Red, Division 2 travels to Millicent and Division 3 are away to Naracoorte.
On Saturday the Open Division 2 side travels to Naracoorte, Division 3 hosts Mount Gambier RSL and Division 4 travels to Naracoorte RSL.
