PENOLA Bowls Club enjoyed a solid victory in last week’s Friday pennant competition.
The Division 1 team defeated Naracoorte by 52 shots 76-24, but Division 2 struggled against Robe, going down by 52 shots 22-74.
Division 3 also had a good win against Naracoorte by 20 shots 56-36.
Saturday’s Open pennant saw Division 2 defeat Naracoorte RSL by 19 shots 74-55, Division 3 went down by two shots to Naracoorte 74-76 and Division 4 lost at Lucindale by 31 shots 55-96.
On Sunday the Men’s 100 Singles were played with Ken Batt taking out the title 102-98 shots over Ian Hetherington.
This week the Friday’s Division 1 team hosts Mount Gambier RSL Blue, Division 2 travels to Mount Gambier and Division 3 plays at home against Lucindale.
On Saturday the Open Division 2 side travels to Mount Gambier, Division 3 plays at home against Port MacDonnell and Division 4 hosts Beachport.
