Motorsport: No slowing down for Day

ON SHOW: Levi Day spent two days with Aprilia Australia while back in the country after another season of racing in England.

AFTER spending his down time from the Ducati TriOptions Cup back home in Mount Gambier, motorcycle racer Levi Day has returned to England in readiness for the new season.

While here he covered plenty of ground, hosting coaching clinics at McNamara Park, a visit to Boandik Lodge to share his experiences with residents, as well as competing at Phillip Island on some classic machinery.

This year Day was joined at McNamara Park by David Johnson, the fastest Australian to lap the Isle of Man, three-times Australaian Superbike champion Josh Waters and 2017 Australian Supersport champion Ted Collins.

The Phillip Island International Island Classic saw Day aboard a hand-built 1967 Egli Vincent 500, a 1989 Honda RS125 and a 1989 TZ250.

He also spent two days with Aprilia Australia, showcasing their RSV4 and Tuono Models, with ex-World Superbike rider and World Endurance champion Steve Martin.
