THE Division 1 Port MacDonnell Friday Pennant team played Mount Gambier last week, where it claimed a convincing win.
With wins on both rinks, the Bay easily took out the day’s honours.
Division 2
Port MacDonnell 44/14 d Robe 34/0
DIVISION 2 was at home to Robe on Friday, with the day going the way of the hosts.
Kay Feast, Lorraine Mackereth, Roma Henderson and Jennie Tilley played Nesla Boundy, Pam Robinson, Rosemary Williams and Valma Jennings in a tight match, which saw Port MacDonnell with a one-shot win.
In the other game, Marilyn Sutton, Colleen Tarca, Elaine Pruis and Val Praetz also claimed victory over Judy Phillips, Nola Peel, Tracey Gray and Helen Lynch.
The Bay team had the edge on this rink and finished with a 26-17 win.
Division 3
Millicent 50/12 d Port MacDonnell 41/2
PORT MacDonnell’s Division 3 side failed to return home with the premiership points last Friday, when it travelled to face its Millicent hosts.
Heather Fox’s rink had a win, but the deficit of Cheryle Doddridge’s loss saw Millicent with the shots to claim the overall win.
