A toast to Andrea

WINNER: Jim Bost, Mark Reynolds, vice president elect Natalie Zwar president Andrea Braun and District Director D73Kevin Broughton.

RECENTLY, Limestone Coast Toastmasters member and club president Andrea Braun competed in Mount Barker at the Central Division contest and walked away with a second in International Speech and a third in Table Topics.

Ms Braun said she was delighted to achieve this result given that she was competing against Toastmasters with several more years experience than herself.

During the event the Limestone Coast Toastmasters Club was also recognised with a presentation of a 60-year plaque.

This highlighted the local club with the honour of being the longest continually running Toastmaster club in Australia.

Ms Braun said it was an honour to collect the award in person on the day along with several other club members who attended the event as well.

If you ever thought that public speaking skills could enhance your life, head along to see how the club operates.

The club is just entering the next renewal period so now would be an excellent time to join.

Interested people are welcomed to attend any club night which are held the first and third Wednesday of the month at the Mount Gambier RSL, on Sturt Street, starting promptly at 7pm.
