Commercial Street came alive when Lower South East Small Schools made their voices heard before a day of sporting action.

After the traditional parade students from Mil Lel, Compton, Moorak, Kongorong, Yahl, Glenburnie and Suttontown Primary Schools converged on Blue Lake Sports Park on Friday, April 5, for the annual Mount Gambier District Small Schools Sports Day.

A showcase of school pride, team members and spectators cheered on fellow students as the seven small schools competed in a range of athletics and novelty events.

Yahl Primary School came out victorious after a day of teamwork.
