With just one month to go until Port Fairy Folk Festival swings into action, the popular seaside event has revealed its final line-up for the March long weekend spectacular.

Experience more than 90 artists across six stages on the Festival Arena and many more across the Port Fairy village, which expects more than 20,000 visitors to the seaside town across the March long weekend 8-11.

For close to 50 years, the Port Fairy Folk Festival has entertained and inspired artists and music lovers with its vast program and charming location.

Port Fairy Folk Festival program director Justin Rudge said this year’s major event has something for everyone.

“We celebrate our wonderful multi-generational audience and in our 47th year we are bringing the best in music and culture from all over the world to beautiful Port Fairy,” he said.

“We are honoured to have a lavish spotlight on two breathtaking artists – Graham Nash and Judy Collins – who will have many songs and stories reflecting on the beginnings of folk music as we know it today.

“Plus, our stages will be filled with the joyful sounds of local, emerging, established and extremely talented musicians who each will bring thought-provoking performance and delight to music lovers at this year’s event.”

Featuring an extraordinary and diverse blend of music and artists from around the world and across many cultures, this year’s Port Fairy Folk Festival promises awe-inspiring experiences and memorable performances.

Returning to the Festival in March will be the crowd pleasing special events program, including The Sunday Singout, Women Out Loud hosted by Sarah Carroll, The Guitarists Show which focuses on some of the world’s greatest players, the local but globally renowned Find Your Voice Collective, Future Folk music series shining a spotlight on young and emerging singers and songwriters from the region, plus more!

Fans and Folkies can explore the market stalls and delicious array of local bars and eateries on the Festival site or within the stunning village of Port Fairy.
