The wearable outfit award for the category was given to Akifah Chaus, who was aided by model Annika to proudly present her black-and-white colour scheme.

For the Battle of the Schools, it was Grant High which managed to take the top spot, further displaying the creativity among students of the school’s community.

Up next was the Novice category, which saw Niramol Clayfield steal the show with a modernised Thai dancer outfit, giving her the themed win.

The wearable award was given to Stephanie McLachlan, who decided to take a modern turn on a flight attendant’s outfit.

Following this was the Open category, which saw an impressive amount of entrants.

Taking the themed award was Juspi with her incredible flight attendant design, which judge Keith Hamilton recommended to enter for Etihad Airways’ next official outfit.

Kathryn Koslowicz snagged the wearable award with a colourful design for a modern Royal Air Force uniform, which attracted the attention of RAF veterans in attendance on the night.

The Experienced category witnessed a dead heat between two competitors for the wearable award, which was eventually given to both Rebecca Yoannidis and Amy Smith.

For the themed award, Kat Young and Rose Slape held together with a collective effort which managed to stun the audience at an award-winning level.

Finally, it was time for attendees to decide who would receive the prestigious People’s Choice award.

The people decided it was best to give it to an outstanding rendition of Mary Poppins, designed and worn by Jenny Cox, managed to pull off the magic of the original character perfectly.

In total, the event managed to raise $5,500 for ac.care with an additional $600 coming from the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s raffle.
