Raising funds for ToyBox Australia is one of the tasks asked of Miss Universe Australia finalist Lauren Walker.
Ms Walker hosted a Mother’s Day Bottomless Brunch for the charity which supports Australia’s sick and disadvantaged children.
“I was joined by a group of incredible women and we celebrated and showed our appreciation for all our beautiful mothers,” Ms Walker said.
“We honoured and remembered those who are no longer with us, those that long to be mothers, and those who have lost.
“I feel so grateful for all of the beautiful women who attended, and those who couldn’t but still chose to donate.
“Your generosity and support helps create change for Australia’s sick and disadvantaged children.
“I am eternally grateful and it would not have been possible without the help of my incredible friends and my mum.
“You all helped bring this to life, always there to cheer me on and lend a helping hand.”
The two and a half hour event was held at the Henty in Mount Gambier on Sunday and $2500 was raised for the charity.
