On August 24, 2021, The Border Watch published an article titled “Bushfire experts launch Lucindale fire class action”.
The article referred to legal proceedings that had been commenced against Ms Patricia Brinkworth and the Estate of the Late Thomas Brinkworth.
The Border Watch acknowledges that the article may have mislead viewers and it is important that we clarify that at this stage the legal proceedings are simply allegations and no findings of fact have been made with respect to the Lucindale fires.
