Up and coming at the Riddoch

ON THE WAY: Tim Gruchy will bring his work to the Riddoch Arts and Culture Centre next month as part of his exhibition.

THE Riddoch Arts and Culture Centre will host yet another intriguing exhibition throughout November with Tim Gruchy’s Remembering the Future set in stone.

Mr Gruchy’s extensive career spans the exploration and composition of both immersive and interactive multimedia through different forms including installation, music and performance.

This is while it redefines it’s role and challenges the delineations between cultural sectors.

The artist has been making and exhibiting work since the 1980’s as he draws on memory, speculative futures, science fiction and combines it with the creative possibilities of both digital and analogue technologies.

This then provides the opportunity to invite his audience into his works.

He continues to focus on working across sound and vision as his work taps into movement and touch and focuses on the interplay between humans and the ever evolving technology created.

Opening night for the exhibition is scheduled for November 12 at 6pm with RSVP essential.

The overall exhibition will then be open to the public on November 13 until January 16.
