WOMEN in regional communities are being urged to apply for the annual Winnovation Awards, with nominations closing July 31.
Run by Women in Innovation since 2014, the awards recognise and encourage women in South Australia undertaking innovative work or projects.
Women in Innovation president Nicole Swaine said the search was on for entrants across 11 categories, including the regional category.
“Entrants could be working in all sorts of fields, working for themselves, or undertaking innovative work in their community,” Ms Swaine said.
Award categories include science, technology, engineering, arts mathematics and data, innovative programs in business, innovation and social impact.

Finalists will be announced in September and an awards ceremony will be held at the National Wine Centre in October.
