City engineering projects continue

MOUNT Gambier City Council will continue to progress a number of key engineering projects in the city this month.

Shed construction at the reuse market site on Eucalypt Drive is 90pc completed while stage two of the Rail Trail shared path is 65pc completed.

Road reconstruction on Bailey, Caldwell and Elizabeth Streets is 50pc, 40pc and 15pc completed respectively.

A car park resurfacing program is 90pc completed and the construction of a disc golf course at the Valley Lakes precinct is 95pc completed.

Construction of a concrete footpath on Wireless Road East is 20pc completed.

Shoulder widening at the intersection of Wireless Road and Wandilo Road is 20pc completed while shoulder repairs at Hawkins Road are also 20pc completed.

Drainage works on Elizabeth Street are 40pc completed and a line marking program is 70pc completed.

Drainage works and road construction on Blackall Lane is 10pc completed.

Shoulder repairs on McCormick Road and road reconstruction on Commercial Street West has been completed.

Paving on Helen Street as part of the ongoing central business district redevelopment has been completed and bitumen sealing at the depot yard is also finished.
