GRANT District Council will liaise with the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) to review the speed limit on Mingbool Road.
Council received a letter from Mingbool Road resident Susan Goodman, signed by a further 17 residents in the vicinity, urging council to reduce the speed limit.
“There are a number of people who jog, walk their dogs and cycle along this road and the rise (just before Barrows Road) is quite scary and an accident waiting to happen,” the letter stated.
The letter requested the speed limit be reduced to at least 80kph.
Council will seek advice from DPTI.
