Youth club branches out to Penola

CHALLENGE: Penola Leos Will, Jacob and Jack presenting a tenpin bowling challenge to new Gambier Leos president Emily Brown.

THE Gambier Leo Charter night, held last month saw the introduction of 14 new Penola Leo Club members.

Attended by three Penola Leo Club members and two club advisors , the event was held at The Italian Club at Casadio Park where Leo Club advisor Max Hellyer wished the new Leo members good luck and to enjoy being part of the new Lions/Leos organisation.

“It is pleasing to have another Leo Club active in the region, and the Leo Club members are looking forward to future interaction between members of the two clubs,” Mr Hellyer said.

Penola Leo members Jack, Jacob and Will delivered a challenge to incoming president Emily Brown and the 13 other members of the new club.

The challenge will consist of a game of tenpin bowling arranged by Gambier City Leo Club.

“I am looking forward to it and bring on the challenge,” Emily said.
