FORMER Tantanoola resident Paul Bullen is the interim regional director of South East Health Services.
Mr Bullen took up the acting role on December 23 as incumbent Jayne Downs is on extended leave until September.
The executive vacancy was externally advertised and a Country Health SA media unit spokeswoman told The South Eastern Times that an announcement about who will fill the role for the next eight months is about to be made.
Mr Bullen is a former director of nursing and patient care services at Millicent and District Hospital.
His career with Country Health SA has included senior nursing and administrative roles at hospitals at Naracoorte and Mount Gambier.
