KICK back in Tantanoola this month at a unique backyard performance featuring Queensland singer songwriter Stu Larson.

As part of the Adelaide born and bred series The Porch Sessions, Stu will continue his lap of the country in support of his latest record Resolute.

The intimate regional shows will also feature talented harmonica player Natsuki Kuri, rising star Tim Hart and folk performer Ryan Martin John.

The group will play 11 backyard shows over three weeks with one convoy of vans making the journey from Queensland to South Australia.

Now in its fifth year, The Porch Sessions aims to explore the backyards of regional areas, transforming people’s gardens into little travelling festivals.

The upcoming Tantanoola show will be held at a private location revealed only to ticket holders.

Stu’s latest release has become a Spotify favourite, clocking up over half a million plays on the track By The River alone.

Since his 2014 release Vagabond, Stu has travelled extensively, growing as an artist, which is evident in his latest album release.

“I might have been shy, but I knew what I wanted,” he said.

“Resolute sums me up at the moment whereas Vagabond summed up the last period of my life, it is still who I am, a travelling nomad.

“However, I know a bit more about what I want, who I am and what I’m okay with, Resolute is a very applicable word for this period of my life.”
