City tourism website launched

TOURISM Mount Gambier’s visitor website at www.discovermountgambier.com.au is now live.

The website features spectacular images captured by local photographer Ockert le Roux and highlights the range of experiences a visitor can have in the Blue Lake city and broader Limestone Coast region.

“It’s an outstanding website that is very evocative with a depth of information that we’re convinced will encourage visitors to stay another day,” TMG chair Kent Comley said.

The website aims to encourage visitors to make Mount Gambier their base during their stay and venture out to explore the region.

“The feed from the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse ensures there is access to all the information people might need to plan their holiday,” Mr Comley said.

“The site has integrated features to allow blogs and events to be written and submitted easily.

“It is an exciting time in Mount Gambier as we actively start to market our region and develop new visitor product and experiences.

“This website has been designed as a showcase of the region and is the first step in taking our message that Mount Gambier is a must visit destination to the world.”
